Workshop outline
This workshop will examine what could and should be happening at a Local and Regional/State Government level to prepare for a greener economy.
Using the state of South Australia as a case study, we will look at why certain industries are celebrated while others are ignored, and where the focus should be on generating future economic activity that is job and community-rich and carbon-lite.
Then we will expand the conversation to include what action local government can take in the post-Copenhagen world to embrace zero net emission economic activity at a city level.
