Welcome drinks
Join us for organic wine and nibbles between 4 pm and 6 pm on Friday 23 October before Bob Brown’s talk. This will be at the Copland Theatre (the main conference venue, a short walk from The Spot) and you can collect your registration kit at the same time, thereby avoiding the rush on Saturday morning. Remember that Tim Jackson’s talk starts promptly at 9 am on Saturday morning via video-link.
The Greening of Politics - Greens Leader Senator Bob Brown
Public lecture on Friday 23 October, with support from the Melbourne University School of Graduate Research. 6.00 for 6.15 pm start at The Spot, Melbourne University (building 110, map reference Q13) — on the corner of Pelham St and Berkeley St Carlton.
International day of climate action
Saturday 24 October is an international day of climate action, organised by 350.org. We will be participating — Saturday lunchtime!
Conference dinner
The conference dinner will be at the Queensberry Hotel, 593 Swanston St Carlton, at 6.30 pm on Saturday 24 October. Cost is $30 per person ($20 low income); drinks are extra. Book and pay for the dinner when you register for the conference and you are welcome to bring guests (there is space on the registration form to book additional places for dinner).

Bringing biodiversity back — onto the public agenda
Birds Australia and the Green Institute invite you to a discussion on how we can get biodiversity conservation back onto the public agenda and secure funding to reverse the decline. Monday 26 October, 9.30 am — 1.00 pm at the Green Building, 60 Leicester St, Carlton, Vic.

Asia Pacific Greens Network – informal meeting, Monday 26 October
