Youth and climate: a call to action
We hope to take your ideas and concerns and turn them into an election focused youth campaign. Young people need to be taking action on things that are important to them, and we’d like to show you how you can be most effective. Big ideas need short term action to make them happen, so the workshop will plan for a 2010 time line.
Presenters
Hannah Aulby is from Tasmania. She attended the Global Young Greens Congress in Kenya in January 2007, and helped organise the Global Greens Congress in Brasil in May 2008. She loves travelling (last year South America, UK, and India; this year South Korea), organising events, meeting fellow greens, eating and singing and playing football.
Jake Wishart was a student activist from Adelaide, now morphed into a union worker in Victoria. He is an Al Gore climate change messenger and has been a radio presenter and budding journalist for 5 years with a focus on international politics and industrial relations.
