Replenishing The Oily Rag

By Tim Hollo June 25, 2021

So far this year, amidst the challenges we’re all facing, The Green Institute has brought you two fantastic quarterly editions of Green Agenda – Into The Fire and On (in)security, webinars on youth & democracy and climate grief and action, a bunch of blog posts, and a democratic budget reply featuring people living in poverty.

All on the smell of an oily rag! (Who else thinks we need a new idiom?)

Can you please help us replenish the oil by chipping in?

All around the Australian Greens and beyond, I hear that the work the Green Institute produces is stimulating conversations, inspiring action in communities and parliaments, and helping people work out what to do and why. And people are often astonished when I tell them that the Institute runs on the efforts of two part-time employees, a couple of occasionally-paid supporters, and a handful of volunteers.

We’ve got exciting plans for the second half of the year that I can’t wait to share with you as they come to fruition. But they all depend on your support.

Believe it or not, a whole edition of Green Agenda can be produced for $4500. So if 90 of you chip in $50 each, we can cover the costs of the next edition in full!

Can you contribute $50 towards the next edition of Green Agenda?

Stay tuned for more on ecological politics coming your way!

Thanks for your support.
